Cor(m) blimey, these crocosmia were in need of a little horticultural assistance today. I could almost have strung them up and created a rather alternative chunky necklace. This summer the foliage smothered a border squashing many a poppy on their way. The cleaned up corms are ready to join a new and relatively empty border. The newly liberated poppies have been joined by many a stunning Allium Christophii bulb.

Being the recycler I am, all the Crocosmia seed heads have been cut off and are now drying in the greenhouse, ready to be made into winter door garlands. Result all round.
